Tripp joined his father’s financial planning business in 2002 after graduating from Wake Forest University. After earning his Series 7, 66, and insurance licenses for life, health and long-term care, he is now in the process of obtaining his CFP^® certification and has so far completed five of the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ modules.

A North Carolina native, Tripp's community pride shows through service as an active member of Kappa Alpha Order and Hayes Barton United Methodist Church. He is a board member of the March of Dimes, an organization that has tremendous meaning to him and his family. He and his wife, Jennifer, live in Raleigh and enjoy spending time with their daughter, Evelyn, and son, Parker. They also enjoy traveling, hunting, fishing, movies and watching collegiate and professional sports, particularly the Carolina Panthers and Hurricanes, as well as the Wake Forest football and basketball teams.
